Aker BioMarine will launch Vitality Month 2026 in Frankfurt with Braingevity: Brain power for healthy ageing, a dedicated industry event focused on the future of cognitive health, healthy ageing and precision nutrition.
Taking place “at Place to Be” Frankfurt, Westend Tower, on 9 June 2026, Braingevity will bring together experts, innovators and ingredient partners to explore how science-backed nutrition can support active minds throughout life. As consumer interest in cognitive wellbeing continues to grow, the Frankfurt event will provide a focused platform for discussing the latest brain health trends, emerging ingredients and practical opportunities for nutraceutical product development.

The programme has been designed to combine market perspectives, scientific insight and real-world application. It will open with Michael Hempel of Aker BioMarine, followed by a presentation from Joris DeWit of Accretio Ventures on the rise of the braincare trend. Christine Strømhylden will then explore precision nutrition for the brain, highlighting how targeted nutritional strategies can support long-term cognitive wellbeing. Christian Heck of Lonza/Capsugel will present dosage form solutions for brain health and mental performance, addressing how delivery formats can help translate science into consumer-ready products.
The afternoon sessions will continue with a broad view of the factors shaping the future of healthy ageing and cognitive performance. Oliver Romanow of Kaneka Nutrients Europe will discuss mitochondrial health and ageing, while Stefan Victor Braun of ImperialOel will examine the gut–brain axis and plant-based omega-3s. Further sessions will feature Philipp Stadel of Sirio Pharma on creating consumer experiences around healthy brains, Robert Alber of Alzchem on creatine for cognitive performance, and Jörg Büttinghaus of BP52 Brand Development on the value of branded ingredients.

This year’s Vitality Month theme, “Active body, active mind”, reflects the growing connection between physical vitality, brain health and nutritional innovation. In Frankfurt, this theme will be explored through the lens of brain power, cognitive performance and healthy ageing, while also connecting to Aker BioMarine’s wider science-backed ingredient portfolio. Attendees will gain insights into ingredients including Lysoveta, Superba Krill oil and Revervia, and how these solutions can support evolving consumer needs across active wellness, brain health and overall wellbeing.
Following the Frankfurt launch, Vitality Month 2026 will continue in Milan on 16 June, Barcelona on 19 June, Madrid on 22 June, Istanbul on 1 July. Each event will explore the Active body, active mind theme from a local market perspective, while Frankfurt will serve as the opening platform for the series with a dedicated focus on brain health and healthy ageing.
